I added a gallery to a page with flickity type set. Now I have images of different sizes which looks bad, because they are all aligned to the top.

Can you tell me if and how I can either

• Make all images show the same height.
• Make all images verticaly centered in the slider.

The best would be to have it like they have it in the Flickity Demo here:

The page is not yet online, so I cannot show anything to you. But basically you just have to add images of different heights to an image gallery, set the type to "flickity" and see what I am talking about.

thanks for the reply but the problem with that is, that it crops the images. And I want them uncropped.

I also tried adding a custom image size myself which has a fixed height, and does not crop. But that didn't help.

Please take a look at the example I posted, there you can see how I want the mix of vertical and horizontal images to look like in the topic of fixed height.

The problem is that none of the layout work really good with images of different orientations and sizes. I would love to see the following coming in an upcoming version:

• A masonry gallery layout that can handle vertical and horizontal images of any dimension. Without the need to set the orientation for every picture and for any dimension without cropping (it's useless for serious photographers if you crop the photos).
• A vertical slider that can handle images of different sizes and is seamless. The Flickity Plugin in general has this option. I guess it should not be too much work, but I'm a software developer myself so I know that those are often the most time-consuming changes ;-D

In any case whats important for me is: I currently have no top option to showcase my work as a photographer. The vertical sliders don't look good with images of different dimensions and the masonry crops my images and I have to define the masonry layout manually for every image. Would love a solution for this.
