Hi, when I try to save a Row as a Template, I get a circle with a line through it.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi There,

This is a known Issue and will be fixed in upcoming updates. A quick fix is to press the "Enter" button on the Keyboard after writing the template name..

    Thanks

Hi Andrew, I caught that in another post too. I work on an Apply keyword and it does not change anything for me when I push & hold the Return key then try to click Save. Am I misunderstanding?

    Hi There,

You only enter the Enter key on your keyboard, in this case enter the return key after entering the template name.

    Thanks.

    Hey Again,

Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.

The current version of the theme is 12.1.6 and the current version of the page builder is 6.4.2. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.

Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

Here's an update guide on what to expect when jumping many major releases at once: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/ take a read through before the update, as many things have changed.

    Thanks

Thanks Andrew, unfortunately pushing enter after I type the template name is not working on a chromebook nor on a Apple keyboard?

The current theme is 12.1.0. By your reference below, is this considered a "jump?"

    Thanks,

    Barb

    Hi There,

We recommend you update your theme to the latest version 12.1.6. Your current version when updated may not be considered a jump because it is not too old however you can as well have a look at this documentation http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/ as it provides more context for theme update.

    Thanks.
