    I just updated Salient from the last to the newest version without using the Envato Market Plugin. Now I should update the plugins as well (without the plugin) but can't find any instructions on how to do this on the update page: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ Can you support me with this?

    Hi Susanne,

    On Updating you don't need to reupload you only click on update the plugin. Let us know whether we are missing something.

    Hi Andrew, 

    thanks for replying. I don't get the option to update the plugins in my settings even though it is clearly not the updated version. I manage my plugins update with Easy Updates Manager, but with the setting to allow for manual updates. So normally I would get the info that there is an update available and have the update button visible. But not with the Salient plugins right now.

    Hi Sussane,

    This is why the Envato plugin is important when updating as it refreshes even the plugins information. Please try updating using the envato plugin as it is mostly recommended so that you don't experience such issues with plugins not showing update notification.

    Please see: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/installing-plugins-updated/ .

    To install required/recommended plugins, head to the Appearance > install plugins section of your admin panel. Once you’ve installed a plugin, don’t forget to activate it as well!

    Hi,

    thanks again. I am sorry to say that none of this has helped by now. I did install the Envato Market Plugin now, but there is still no option to update the plugins available.

    The instruction mentioned by Tahir is useless for me as there is no info in it on how to install the plugins (and they are already installed, just not updated) in my install plugins panel.

    Hi Susanne,

    Do you have any third party plugins. If so then try testing for plugin conflicts by deactivating the third party plugins then reactivate them back one by one to see the one that falls culprit.

    Hi Andrew,

    I cannot find any problems with any third party plugins. The plugins also do work fine in their current versions. In the meantime, the Envato Market Plugin seemed to work in that I was given the option to update to version 13.0.5 which worked perfectly fine. Still, the plugins remain the same version and no option available to update those. Are the plugin versions Salient Core (1.7), Salient Nectar Slider (1.6), Salient Widgets (1.1) and Salient WPBakery Page Builder (6.4.2) all compatible with PHP 7.4? Because I need to update the PHP version. Thanks for the support.
