    Hi

    So my mobile off-canvas menu automatically displays navigation items from the main site. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening so that I can define what happens in the off-canvas section myself, say through the Wordpress widgets section?

    Hey Michael ,

    Try turning off this option and then assign a Menu Widget in the Off Canvas Menu Widget Area:

    Thanks, Tahir, but this causes the off-canvas menu to also appear on PC. I don't want that. I want to have as much control as you'd find in my earlier question while keeping the off-canvas menu only on mobile.

    Hi Michael,

    You can customize from Appearance > Customize > Widgets then head to off canvas.

    Hi, Judith, I'll restate my request for the sake of being clearer:

    1. I only want an off-canvas menu on mobile

    2. I don't want the off-canvas menu to inherit navigation menu items from the main website

    3. I want to determine whatever appears on the off-canvas menu


    I believe your response addresses 3, 

    Tahir's response addresses 2 but causes the off-canvas menu to also appear on the main site (which I want to avoid).


    How can I achieve 1 and 2 at the same time?

    Hi Michael,

    1. Disable this option for the off canvas to only appear on mobile:

    2&3 In case you do not want the off canvas to inherit the menu options in the main menu, then turn on the option in 1 above. Also at the moment you can only control what happens to the off canvas on the off canvas section in the salient options or the widgets section in customize under appearance.
