    Hey guys,

I was wondering if it was possible to fix Page Speed Insight's "ensure text is user-visible while webfonts are loading" issue?

I read quite a lot about it, I know it's possible with coding or with some plugins such as Autoptimize or Swap Google Fonts Display, however these two don't seem to be working with the theme, even after clearing cache.

Is this because of a particular setting of the theme? (are Google Fonts self-hosted?)

In any case, can we fix this issue for Salient theme?

    Thanks a lot.

PS : I'm using Montserrat, Poppins and Shadow Into Light

    Hi Nico,

You could try our optimization guide in http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/

    Hope this helps.

Ok thanks a lot Andrew, I've read this guide thoroughly, it does improve (a lot) my PageSpeed Insights score (+20 points average)! I hope it won't cause any display problem, but for the moment I don't see any.

However, I did not see any comment about Google Fonts load in your guide...

Therefore, I still have this "ensure text is user-visible while webfonts are loading" issue in PageSpeed Insights' diagnosis.

Do you have any tips to fix that?

    Thanks!

    Best
