is there any chance to set the default height of Header Image for any page in percent instead of pixels?
My idea is to set default height of fullwidth Header Image to 80% so each user will see directly some more content bellow (regardless of resolution). And for cases when I need to set some different value in px or percent, I will specify this value in the Page header settings.
Could you please advice me how to add this default value in percents to the code?

Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (Make Sure there are no red cross in the Box) :
