I hope you are having an awesome day and thanks for contacting us regarding your query.
A rather simple way of getting this would be to add the slider in Visual Composer to the top of the page, then add the code below to the Custom CSS Code section located by navigating to Appearance>General Settings>CSS/Script Related>Custom CSS Code from your WordPress Dashboard:
/*remove page header slider*/
#page-header-wrap { display: none!Important; }
Please let me know if there are any more questions that I may answer for you :)
I have tried this but I still seem to have a page header and a background under my navigation whereas I want the navigation to work OVER the slider. Can you help?
Simply clear the page header metabox fields and see if it makes a difference.
Could you allow us to log in to your website backend dashboard so we can check on this for you more?. We are gonna need the username and password of admin user as well as the login url.
We can place the Revolution Slider like other Page Elements using the WPBakery Page Builder. The Page Header Background cannot be replaced however and would have to be removed by clearing all the "Page Header Settings" Metabox fields.
Still seeing the Page Header Meta Field values in the html code , please clear all of them for the page header to not show up and take up the space between the header and the revolution slider.
I cleared the Page Header Meta Files values - in the page under the ''Page Header Settings'' section.
It was the colours I forgot to clear - thanks.
The last action I need to do is to remove the grey colour from just under the Slider Revolution. It appears directly under the slider. Do you know if this is possible?
Hello,
Is it possible for me to use the Revolution slider as the main slider on the home page? If so how do I get it in there?
Thanks!

Hello,
I have a similar question.
I want to use Resolution Slider to create a webpage background image. www.surfstr.com
How can I add the Revolution Slider (https://www.sliderrevolution.com) to the top section of the homepage? And to other selected pages?
Thanks
Adam
@Adam,
We can place the Revolution Slider like other Page Elements using the WPBakery Page Builder. The Page Header Background cannot be replaced however and would have to be removed by clearing all the "Page Header Settings" Metabox fields.

@Tahir,
Thank you, I cleared the settings. However there is a gap from the main navigation menu to the Slider revolution.
Do you know hoe to close this blank gap, so the main menu appears over the revolution slider?

Thanks,
Adam

Hey Again,
Try using the Force Transparency Option in "Page Header Settings" Metabox . See screenshot : http://prntscr.com/gjnyit .
