    Hi

    I have the blog configured so that the author profile appears under the post in single page view.

    If I click the 'Read more posts by...' button it just takes me to the home page?

    Also, I have social sharing buttons enabled in the Salient > Blog > Functionaility settings but I can't see any buttons on the post?

    Hi Andy,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    About not bing able to load author pages and getting redirected to the homepage, we took a look at this and there is a http 301 redirect on https://www.brightweb.design/author/andy/ or any link that ends with author/andy/. You can see this here https://tools.keycdn.com/curl

    It does not seem to be caused by the them and maybe something on the server side or even the .htaccess file. Could you get your hosting provider to take a look at this.

    OK, this was an issue with Yoast.

    I enabled on 'Author archives' in the Titles and Meta Archive tab and it now works.
