Are you testing in Firefox Browser ?. Firefox no longer supports Gradients so a patch was released in Salient Theme version 7.6 .
Please update and test.
Salient 7.6 is now available for Download on the Themeforest Download Page , Visual Composer has also been Updated to Version 4.12.1.
If you're upgrading from Salient VC 4.9.2 earlier, you'll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.12.1) in Appearance > Install Plugins - This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.

I want to use your gradient text option in my page, but when I use it, nothing appears in the web.
I tried changing headers size and gradient styles, but i have the same result, text doesn´t appears.
I am working with wordpress 4.7.1

To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme update, the changelog can be viewed here : http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

Yes, i am using firefox for testing. I updated the theme and i can see the text now (without gradient, but it´s not a big problem for now)
