    Hi

I love Salient and have used it in a lot of projects, but there's one thing that drives me bonkers about it, and that's padding.

The Visual Composer gives me wonderful control of how much padding I need around elements, but at the end of every project I always have to put in a whole lot of CSS to get rid of unnecessary padding that seems hardwired into the theme.

Why doesn't the theme give us better control over padding? What's the point of having all that control in the interface, only to find out that container and row elements have hardwired padding in them that stuffs up our layouts?

I'd really like to know! If Salient assumed no padding at all between elements as a baseline, it would then be child's play to add it where it was wanted. As it is, getting rid of unwanted padding is difficult and painful.

    Cheers, Peter
