    I installed salient, salient child theme, imported the app demo.

    my problem is, that always the salient logo appears. in the source code there is the line: 

    <img class="starting-logo default-logo" alt="*****" src="http://themenectar.com/dummy_data_creation/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/logo2.png" style="height: ***px;">

    SOLVED: it was my mistake. i have to change the logos also in the theme options transparency section.

    thanks for posting with your solution. I had the same confusion. Perhaps there should be a small note under "Logo & General Styling > Logo Upload" to the effect of:

    "This setting affects only the second header logo (after scrolling). To change the initial logo go to Header Navigation > Transparency > Logo Upload".
