In Wordpress backend I can go to the Home Page and edit it. All the way at the bottom, the "Page Header Settings" can be adjust. One of the options here is the "background type".
I cannot find any information about this "Page Header Settings" part. What is it for and for what cause is it developped? Do you have any examples of sites / demos working with the Page Header Settings?
What I want to achieve is an image-slider or short video introduction of our company on screen as soon as one enters our website.

Please see: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-metaboxes/ . Both the Nectar Slider and Page Header loop the video continuously so keep that in mind when creating a intro video.
