    Hi,

    when hitting "search" function, there is a big layer saying "start typing". Is there a way to translate the "start typing" into some other language - german for example?

    Try Using this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/ . In the Text domain write "salient"without the double quotes.
