    Hi there, after having updated to version 8.0 of Salient theme some features disappeared (such as google maps or image carousel).

    I found out that was due to my child theme so I tried to active the Parent theme and everything came back to work....in an messy way!

    If I use the parent theme all the features are back but I completely loose Google's fonts together with formatting while, on the other side, if I use the child theme I have I miss the above features.

    Could you please help me?

    May I ask you to confirm if you have renamed the child theme of the Salient theme in any way such as a custom name?

    Hi Andrew and Tahir.

    I'm sorry for having bothered you but I found out that the problem wasn't your theme but Cloudflare instead.

    Please close the ticket.

    Hey Mandig,

    In regards to the issues you are having with translations, please  use this salient.pot file and place it inside the "salient/lang" folder so that loco reads it .
