    It appears the new theme update got rid of the Widgetized Sidebar element?  Is that right?  It converted all my sidebars to text.

    How can I execute this today?  There were several formatting reasons why I placed the sidebar in manually, rather than select it as a Blog setting.

    This is also my issue. I have quite a few pages built this way, and would love to get this functionality back, if at all possible.

    @Tahir – Thanks but I've since managed to find a workaround for this on the current project... A return of the Widgetized Sidebar in the next update will be good as it's a very handy element to have.

    @Mark , This has been fixed a couple of version back .

    Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.0.15 and Salient VC 5.0.1. 

    Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .
