I have bought salient, and installed the child theme.

There are lots of things that I need to change, which only can be done in the core php files of the theme.

What is best practice to do this with your theme ?

Can I add changed php files to the child theme, so that when an update of the main theme happens, not all the modifications are changed ?

Do you recommend another less intrusive way to be able to adapt core things in the code ?
