Am I able to link to a specific page and have the portfolio sorted to a specific category? Is this something I can do with a URL parameter?

For example, I would like to create a main navigation link which directs to the page I listed in this ticket. However I'd like to have the page load with a specific category sorted.

You can usually just use a portfolio item in visual composer and set it to the category only that you want to show..

so instead of showing the entire portfolio you simply as it to only show one category and then you can display it in whatever format you like... as a carousel, masonry slices or whatever...

Then you can call the page whatever you want and link to it like any other page.
