Hey Wolfgang,
The New Woocommerce 3.0 Update is not yet compatible with Salient 8.0 . Please downgrade Woocommerce in the meantime until the new Salient Update is released: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/installing-uninstalling-woocommerce/#section-7 .
