Yes, I'm referring to the image alt attribute. I've noticed that event if I put title and alt attributes on the images, theses tags don't appear when I inspect elements, It will show only if I do it manually on the code that visual composer generates on classic editor, which would be a pain in the ass if I had to do this way to the 600 images I have on the site. Any recommendation would be very appreciated.
You can add the alt attribute to image automatically using this plugin. For more information to set up the plugin, you may want to refer to this article .
Glad to hear that you've solved the problem. Could you please tell me what did you do to have it fixed, so I can do the same if anyone else is experiencing such problem again? It will be greatly appreciated.
Yes, please post a fix? There are no alt tags showing up for images. (logo, images attached as a background image in a row, or when using the single image widget.)
1.) This makes this theme NOT ADA compliant for screen readers and accessibility devices. 2.) No alt tags ruin SEO scores, so there is no point for using this theme professionally until this is solved.
Hello!!
looks like title and alt tags for images are not showing with visual composer. I'm trying to see it while inspecting element on chrome but no luck
Can you help me?
Thank you!
Hi Pablo,
Thanks for contacting us regarding your query.
Are you referring to the context box that appears in images while hovering over them with the Alt tag information?
And are you referring to this in the Visual Composer editor or on the front end of your site?
I look forward to your reply.
Cheers!
