    Hi!

I was told this was probably a theme related issue, so apologies if it isn't:

When adding an image to a page, I don't have the dropdown menu that lets me choose what image size I want.

Any idea why the dropdown doesn't exist? Wordpresss 4.7. Latest Salient.

    Thanks!

    Hey Aliwash,

Make sure to  Choose Image Grid Style in the "Image Gallery Settings" VC Options Popup.

Please have a look at this Article :Masonry Image Gallery

    Thanks for replying so quickly!

So I am not using an Image Gallery, I am just using the Single Image element.

I believe that in the Set Image popup, there should be something like this?

But as you can see in the original attachment, I have no such options.

I just want to be able to choose the image size when adding it to a page, but it only can add the original size.

I tried installing a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/, but even if I have different sizes for an image, I have no way of selecting the size I want to add to the Single Image element because there is no dropdown.

    Hey Again,

Thanks for the clarification . Those Options arent available as the Image Added in the Single Image Element is responsive as well as Adaptive in Salient 8.0 . So the Image sizes are automatically shown as per the view port.

OK, so you're saying I need to upload the size I want if I want it to be smaller or larger?

If you are using the Single Image VC Element then that takes the Width of the Column its in . If you want to add a smaller image add it to the Text Block using the "Add Media" Tab .
