when I use a vimeo url for a button link within the Nectar Slider, it fails to load when clicked on with the spinning icon only showing.
I tried with multiple vimeo urls including the standard video url, player.vimeo url and tried the embed just in case. With Youtube url I have no problem.
Please can you advise how to resolve this or is there a known issue?
An added note, when I choose a full slide link instead and use the same vimeo url it works in so far as it opens up a new page. I want it to open up in a player and stay on my site.
thanks for your reply. I checked those settings but it hasn't fixed the problem. I also then tried with a few url types but still the same result. Have you another suggestion?
I found a solution. It seems the theme lightbox option was the key. It was set as default to pretty photo which just seemed to work for youtube not Vimeo. Selecting none was making everything misbehave but the Magnific option is now playing the Vimeo video in a lightbox player while staying on the homepage.
Thanks for your input earlier and I hope the above solution comes in handy for someone.

Hey James,
If you have Page Transitions Turned On Please Switch the Animated Transition Method to "Standard" in Salient Theme Options -> Page Transition Section.
Also be sure to check/uncheck this Disable Fade Out On Click option : http://prntscr.com/8f3bj7
