    Hi - 

    I tried setting up BWP Minify to combine/minify scripts per the guide, and while it worked great on a desktop browser, it broke badly in mobile. From there, i started w/ CSS only, and even having the plugin active  with all scripts excluded, site would still break.

    I know this is the recommended plugin for Salient, could you provide any insight? 

    I'm running:

    • Salient 8.0.15 + basic child theme
    • WP 4.7.4 hosted on WPEngine
    • BWP 1.3.3

    Hi there,

    Thanks for contacting us regarding your query.

    This guide was designed with the Salient Theme and recommended plugins installed only.

    There are instances where other plugins that are installed when minified may introduce undesired effects when similar settings are applied.

    You may try the W3 Total Cache and also the steps outlined in this video in the event the site still breaks after activation.

    Please let me know of your findings after conducting these tests.
