I've finished working on the website. However, the website load very slow for the first time user.
I tried testing it by browsing it in incognito mode and it take about at least 5-6 secs to load a single page. Generally, I've tried my best to simplified the whole website as much as possible. I've made sure the images' size are optimised for web. Also, I removed most of the special effect (nectar slider etc.), hoping to achieve higher loading speed. But, it's still not the speed that I expect from a website with much simpler and straightforward content compare to all the complex effects and styles that Salient offers.
Is there anything that I can do to increase the loading speed? Hope to hear from you soon.

Try using the Optimization plugins recommended in this Article http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ and check if that makes a difference .

Also you need to optimize the Image .Try this plugin or similar : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/ .

So what can I do about it?
Install Better WP minify Plugin as mentioned in the Guide : http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ .
If it still doesnt work or have it installed contact your hosting provider as they might have restricted use of such plugins .
