I am working on a development website with the Salient theme. What I would like to do is export all the pages from the development site and import them on the production website. I have the All Export Pro and All Import Pro plugins, and when I use that, I am able to get the pages exported and imported. All regular images are copied over, but images that are used as backgrounds are not copied over. Do you have a process to reliably export and import pages in your theme that will bring all images over?
You will be required to save the page as a template and export the template using the Templatera extension for Visual Composer located in the link below if you would like to retain the background images when moving pages across sites.
Unfortunately, I am not aware of a way to do this action in bulk and after checking the resources for Visual Composer, this feature does not appear to be available at this time.
Please let me know if there are any more questions that I may answer for you.
To give a broad context for this issue, I am doing an overhaul of the content of our website and using Salient as the new theme. I want the transition from the old content/theme to the new content/theme to be fairly quick, we are working on all of the content in Salient on a development site. What is the quickest way to get pages in Salient on our development site onto our production site? Are there in-house tools you use to do it?
Thanks for your reply and detailing the task you are trying to achieve.
That question would be better answered by the development team which I can refer you over to.
Please note that I cannot provide an ETA as to the turn around time in regards to a reply to this request, but you will be notified in a timely manner.
Please let me know if there are any more questions that I can answer for you.
As Andrew Mentioned this option does not seem to be available in the VC . So the only thing that the development team can do is to ping the VC Developers and add in a Feature request .

Hey Seth,
Only the demos after Salient 8.0 have the Full set of images available as the others have licensing restrictions .

Hey Again,
Such Tools are usually provided by the Hosting Provider so you will have to check with them . Other than that you can use Plugins such as : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/ or similar .
Thanks

Andrew, I would appreciate it if you could refer me to someone on the development team so we can get this figured out.
