    Hello,

I am attempting to try out a new web font from myfonts.com but am having trouble using it with Salient theme (this is my first time trying a theme from ThemeNectar). Myfonts provided the code for the header tag, which I have inserted into both the Parent and Child header.php pages, but it appears the Salient theme settings are overriding my css (so far, only the main nav is what I tried styling with the new font). I also noticed when attempting to add CSS in my Child stylesheet under Editor vs. Salient panel that Salient overrides everything else. What's a good solution for these instances?

    Thank you for your help!

    Sara

Hello, I am just wondering about how long is a typical response time to tickets? I paid the extra money for extended support, so I am just hoping someone can get to my question. How to get a webfont to work because it seems I am not able to override the theme styles with css. Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    Hi there,

I hope you are having an awesome day and thanks for contacting us regarding your query.

My sincere apologies for the late reply.

Salient doesn't come out the box with an explicit means of adding web fonts, not many themes do, but you may have a look at this article for more information on implementing them:

You may also try using the plugin linked below to make things a bit easier:

    I hope this helps

    Cheers!
