    Hello,

As of today I've been having problems accessing my website. Instead of the content, a blank page shows up. The page source also shows up blank.

This error also shows up within the Wordpress control panel when I try to edit pages. It also shows up when trying to access Portfolio, Home Slider, Nectar slider. I don't have any problems accesing the Salient section, though.

I asked my host's support department for help. The agent who helped me discovered, by switching the theme to the default wordpress theme, that the website was able to appear visible with that theme. Of course, the text and images appeared messed up since the pages were created using the Salient Visual composer for the Salient theme, but we were able to determine that the issue was with the Salient theme specifically, not Wordpress or the hosting.

Error reporting was temporarily enabled by my hosting support agent. The error displayed was the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_product() in /home/greecjzr/public_html/wp-content/themes/salient/functions.php on line 4950

I have the latest version of Salient and the Visual Composer plugin installed, which I recently installed today in order to get my website running again, but it hasn't fixed the problem.

Here is a list of the activated plugins:

    Advanced WordPress Reset
    BulletProof Security
    Check Email
    Contact Form 7
    iThemes Security
    Salient Visual Composer

    All are up to date.

How do I fix this error and get my website back online?

    Hey Again,

Try reinstalling the Theme and that should fix it.

And how do I reinstall the theme?

Before I contacted you guys, I already tried using ftp to overwrite the version I had installed with the latest one, but that didn't fix the problem

After you replied, I tried deleting the theme on Wordpress dashboard, and reinstalling it by reuploading it from dashboard, but after activating it I keep getting the same error.

Edit: Nevermind. I installed and activated the WooCommerce plugin and that fixed the problem (even though I never actually use it)

    Thanks for your help.
