I noticed that some of the demos have a preloader included (Salient's main demo, "Product" and "Mobile App" to name a few). I am using the "Project Slider" demo import, set to Ascend in Styling and there is no preloader.
It seems like the slider is loading all images at once, and reveals the first slide before images are loaded. I have images compressed into JPEG at no more than 650kb.
How can I: activate the preloader that is included in some of of the other demos OR instruct the slider to only load one image at at time, and only reveal the page until they are loaded.
The Preloader you are mentioning on the Other Demos is the the Page Transition Option which can be adjusted in Salient theme Options Panel -> Page Transition Tab .
As for the Slider there is no such Lazy load option available currently . Try using Revolution Slider from Theme punch if you have a copy .
