Hello, I am not finding how to create a "optative text appearance" when clicking a small arrow button... not to another row or page but to an "hidden" text that could be revealed on the same spot. For instance on my page you could see each member of my advisory board and that's all, or you could click on a small arrow or "see more" button and could follow a 10 line description.
Could you please elaborate more on your query as I'm afraid that I don't understand what you meant by 'optative text appearance'. If possible, could you please give an example?
Sorry for the inconvenience that this causes. Looking forward to your reply.
Hello Andrew, thanks for the answer. On this page: https://www.edeni.fr/a-propos/#conseil-consultatif I would like to see the names and titles of my advisory board but not the whole description. I would like the whole description appears just as it is now just if a button "+" or "Read more" is clicked (the text appears on the same row).
We do not think that is possible and also we could not seem to find that element on salient visual composer. You seem to be using 5.0.1 and the latest is 5.2.1
Please clarify on the exact element you are using so that we can get a better perspective on this. It sounds like you want a read more link \ button to expose more of the description.
Which element are you using for that section so that we can be sure if this is not possible? Thanks.
Hello Andrew. I confirm you I am using the latest version of Salient. So far this section is using nothing more than 3 columns with text. But you got it right, I would like a read more link \ button to expose more of the description. Do you know how to do that?
Hey Andrew, thanks, no it is true that I don't want to redirect to another page or section but to integrate it directly as a toggle... As Salient is famous to be so complete I thought I could ask you and might know how to :)
We don't have such specific feature at the moment, but we indeed have a toggle, so I suggest you use that instead. After that, we can proceed to style the toggle to look better using CSS code to some extent.

Is that clearer?

Hi there,
If it's not on the salient visual composer then i don't think it's within our customer support scope.
Have you tried using buttons to redirect to a separate page with the full information?
Best,

Hi again Helene,
Thank you for writing back to us.
We don't have such specific feature at the moment, but we indeed have a toggle, so I suggest you use that instead. After that, we can proceed to style the toggle to look better using CSS code to some extent.
Hope this helps.
