    My problem is urgent, when I try to upload Salient, the page basically freezes, what should I do ? 


    I installed the child theme successfully though

    Hey 

    Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. 

    You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

    Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly. 

    Also try using Chrome and see if that makes you upload it correctly.
