Out of curiosity, wouldn't an attribute list or categories list be a good candidate for shortcodes, or do their dynamic/dependent nature forbid them to be implemented as such ?

I'd like to provide a way to filter a portfolio grid based on meta and having each project meta displayed on their own page.
The thing is the "Enable Sortable" option appears to work on categories only and the default project template only shows the attributes.
What would be your recommended method to have the categories displayed on the projects page ?
