I have a problem with my home slider, i did not do any updates i purchesed the theme about a month ago, i am uploading a pic and its does not show on my home page.
now, about the nectar slider... I upload an image and the slider work just fine but for some reason the pic is stretched, any idea why...?

Hi Eli Atar,
The slider images are set to background cover which adds a bit of crop \ zoom to the image.
The purpose of this is to keep the image from being distorted i.e. seem to be stretched or squeezed.
What you can maybe do to reduce this is to use this CSS in salient \ general settings - css script related - custom css code:
#featured article{ background-size: contain !important; }Hope this helps.

Sorry for making that assumption.
It is not showing on the homepage maybe because you are not using the Home - slider only page template.
Switch the page template on the page attributes section on the edit page.

The parallax effect is programmed into the slider and there is no option to remove this.
You can try to use the nectar slider instead of the home slider.
