    Hello,

I'm working on the contact page for a small site, and I can't seem to disable the Google maps option at the top of the page. See the attached screen captures.

I can't find any way to turn this off in the page specific editor, and I've turned off everything in the Contact tab of the Salient options.

    Here's the page URL:

    Hi Mark ,

If you want to remove the map you can remove it by editing the page and removing the Google maps element on salient visual composer \ page builder.

If that is not what you mean then add the Google Maps API key at salient \ general settings - css script related area. That should remove the error on the map and show and actual map.

    Hope this clears things up.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately the Google maps element doesn't show up in the visual composer/page builder, so I'm not sure how to remove it. (see the attached screenshot)

    Hi Mark,

Could we have temporary admin access - username password with admin privileges - so that we can take a look at this from the backend and get the bottom of it.

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

Thank you for providing the login credential.

It looks like you're using the 'contact' template. This is why the page displays the google map by default. You can change the template to 'default template' instead from the 'Page Attributes' panel like so:

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards.

    That did the trick, thanks!
