    Hi!

    So I just discovered the video player only shows link when using Vimeo in a website I'm currently working on.

    But I wanted to be 100% sure that it wasn't something wrong on my part (conflicted plugins etc), so I just went ahead and installed a fresh Wordpress and downloaded the newest Salient theme and installed it. 


    I did not changed anything and still the video player only shows a link as you can see in this url: http://dataring.se/dev/wordpress/home/


    Can someone please help?

    Hey Again,

    Try using an Iframe as your server likely has a cross origin policy that is not letting you embed the video .

    Thanks for your response.

    It works completely fine when I paste a Youtube link instead of Vimeo.
