Would it be a bad idea if some of the VC blog functionality was left back in a future version of Salient theme?
When I build for a creative company I find they often have need for organized blogs and for example job listings. All of this could be solved with a little bit more freedom of the VC functionality
The rest of Salient is so good. I want to keep using it for future websites too. I'm sure I can't be the only one that has these same needs.
Or does this all conflict with your attempt to keep Salient lean and optimized.
I'm actually trying to do the opposite. Switch from regular visual composer to Salient visual composer. But nothing is transferring over. it's appearing as code on the site. Is there a way to transition?
@Rian, I am afraid the Content is not transferable from the Regular to Salient VC as we have a Customized/Stripped version included in the Salient Theme .
hello. I read on a previous ticket ( https://themenectar.ticksy.com//ticket/1001435/ CLOSED) that we can turn on full VC. However it was indicating that we'd loose the optimization.
However there are some major things missing from the salient VC.
// blog filter
I can't seem to figure out how to turn on the filter for the blog grid.
// grid builder
less important but it would be nice to be able to style the blog grid.
// return button
on the portfolio there is a way to get back to the portfolio page from
is there such a button or system for regular blog ?
Hey Again,
I am afraid we dont have such a option available.
