I am getting the following error code now regarding Visual Composer. When I turn this plug-in OFF the error goes away. I have purchased the latest version of Visual Composer but the error continues with the new and your original Visual_Composer_Salient either way activated. The error is on both. The people at WBBakery said its a glitch in the Salient theme. Can you help? Here is the error message:

The issue is because add_shortcode_param was deprecated in past and one of your theme or plugins is still using this function as it is having a Visual Composer related code in it. You can identify the exact on by following this process:
Please try deactivating all the plugins except visual composer and especially switching onto a default theme like twenty fifteen to check the same. You can then activate them one by one to find out the exact one causing the issue.
Once found, you can get in touch with it's developer and get the function replaced with: vc_add_shortcode_param We mostly doubt it is the theme or plugins related to it as it comes with a packaged version where the theme author might have used some related code in the theme.
Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.1.0 and Salient VC 5.2.1.
If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel" -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .
I ask you to read this carefully and don't send canned responses. I have the latest Salient Theme from Themeforest. I have once again downloaded a fresh copy today. I also have Salient Visual Composer 5.2.1. I also never had the box checked regarding updates. The update theme box has also been unchecked for updates, but I never get updates.
The issue continues. When I DEACTIVATE the Salient Visual Composer, the system goes totally haywire and code is all over the page. When I ACTIVATE Salient Visual Composer the error codes comes back but the pages show properly. I have spoken with with WP Bakery on this and they tell me that the problem is with Salient Theme. I have your latest version from Themeforest. I need you to look at these and give me a working solution. This is clearly.....clearly....and issue with Visual Composer version from Salient so please provide the support I have paid you to provide.

Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.1.0 and Salient VC 5.2.1.
