salient visual composer not working

    I am not able to activate my salient visual composer for some reason. I can't properly edit my pages without it. I tried updating my salient theme to the newest version. Still not working. Is there anything else I can try?

    Hey 

    Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. 

    You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

    Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.

    I asked them and they tried that. they said there is no 48M. Only 64, 32, 16, 8 . I asked them to do 32. My Salient visual composer is still not working. Anything else i can try?

    Hey there,

    Can you confirm that your current salient version is 5.2.1

    If not please update and let me know how this goes.

    What do you mean? My current salient version is 8.1.0. Which is the newest.

    Hi there,

    My apologies, I meant can you confirm that you're using Visual Composer version 5.2.1 not Salient. Also, please have your post_max_size and upload_max_filesize increased to 64M instead of 32M. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

    Please see my attached photo. it shows that my salient visual composer is 5.2.1 and my visual composer is 5.3

    Hi amitsharda,

    Could we get temporary admin access - username password with admin privileges - we check this from the backend.

    Note that using both of the plugin i.e. salient VC with VC might cause issues i.e. elements are not interchangeable and if you decide to built a site with one of them then stick to one but not both.
