The icons are showing but they need to be changed with new once. The documentation you have sent me is for troubleshooting icons that are not showing or not showing properly.

2. Is there a list of icons that we can choose from?
Sorry for the bit of misunderstanding. When icons do not show and show only code then there is usually and issue with them loading.
Which element is this and can we get a screenshot of the issue. Also check for errors on the devtools - console area: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools
Usually it's a CORS error because the site and wordpress addresses at settings \ general are not the same. Thanks.

There is not clear inbuilt method for using you own icons on the salient visual composer elements. You would have to do some modifications to included theme on some of the icons elements and also you would need to add CSS for there declarations. Apart from that you would need the font files added to the theme that would then contain the icons them selves.
Alternatively you can try and use a plugin that adds custom icons to your site. Hope this clears things up.
Cannot select a new icon because it is showing in code. How to change these icons or see the available once?
