Hi I have just installed and uploaded the theme to my wordpress site. however it seems like all my menus and other pages except for the hoome page have disappeared. Can you please guide me through the steps and advise me whther i missed any steps along the way.
I am in very urgent need of help. I have installed the Salient theme however my woocommerce products are not visible on the website.
Whenever i click on the respective product the screen remains loading like in the attached photo. Is there some configuration guide I can follow please?
Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:
max_execution_time 60 memory_limit 256M post_max_size 48M upload_max_filesize 48M Please check on these and have them be fixed by your hosting provider if they are different.
Hi andrew, I have passed the instructions to my hosting provider Godaddy. and they have emended to Php details so that th theme can work effeciently by, however the problem still persits.
Whenrver i try to open a woocomerce product page this fails to open and keeps loading forever. I lookforward to a promopt reply from you as its already been past a week since my purchase.
But this is crazy! I have to wait all this long for support. I;ve purchase your template a week ago I would pretend much more effiecient support than this, sorry to Say!
We're sorry for the delay, but please understand that you should get back to you in 1-2 days max.
Regarding the problem. Please try deactivating all third party plugins you have (except salient's default plugins) one by one, while clearing the cache and refreshing the page in between to see if it's a plugin conflict.
Should I deactivate the woocommerce plugin will I still be able to open up a product page? because the problem lies mainly there when trying to open up a product. Also, will this negatively impact my website or lose me any settings or data that i had originaly made if i do deactivate all plugins?
Unfortunately, you can't create/see the product page when you deactivating the woocommerce plugin. However, there might be other plugins that are not compatible with WooCommerce, so I suggest you try deactivating them first. And no, deactivating plugins shouldn't affect you in a bad way. Although, if you have element that come from the plugin on your page (calendar/form/etc) you won't be able to see it until the plugin is reactivated again.
Could this possibly mean that you couldn't access the dashboard? This sounds like server problem and has nothing to do with the theme. You may want to try asking permission to your hosting service. If you have backups, you can also considering rolling back to previous state if there are changes that causes this.
Dear representative, its been over almost a month since i purchased your theme together with the visual composer. Unfortunately I have not been able to intall the theme successffuly due to complications with woocomerce and also the visual composer doesn't seem to work either.
Is there any other solution to these problems , do you have some more effective support base i can get tin touch with please for more assistance and hands-over help ?
Dear representative, I managed to make the salient theme work. However it loads so much slower than my older theme. In particularly when I open a product page.
Is there any way I can improve the loading time? Thank you very much.
I am getting this fatal error message every time i try to access the Salient theme setting from my dashboard:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 97370112 bytes) in /home/andreixerri/public_html/ak-artistry.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3721
Also I am still facing seriously slow page load times. It is actually not even opening, keeps on loading forever. I have enacted and installed many plugins as suggested by your performance manual including WP cache, and others.
Can you please advise the way forward ?? It's been already over 2 months trying to propoerly make this theme functional- am really regretting buying it in the 1st place to be honest!
For now could you disable all extra plugins except salient visual composer. From the test here https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.ak-artistry.com/tchX589R in the water fall tab the server seem to take a while to respond. Could you see if your hosting provider support can help with that since they are in control of your hosting.
Also fatal error on memory, could you see if your hosting provider can help with that aspect. We have not had any other users having this issue.
The Fatal error is only occurring when i try to open up the Salient theme settings, hence there is nothing the hosting providers can do since they already lifted the php memory limit and is currently set at 260MB.
Do you please provide any technical assistance with this please?

Hey there,
Your PHP Settings are likely not correct.
You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/
Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:
max_execution_time 60
memory_limit 256M
post_max_size 48M
upload_max_filesize 48M
Please check on these and have them be fixed by your hosting provider if they are different.
Thanks
Hi Andrew, I ve installed the plugin however i cannot retrieve thos same metrices you described

You can see here that all php limits are equal or greater than those suggested.
Please advise the way forward. Thank you
Andrei

Hi Andrei,
Apologies for the late reply.
For that error see if your hosting provider can increase the PHP memory limit on your server.
Try 256 MB if possible and higher if you can.
Also make sure you are using PHP 5.6 or higher on the server.
Hope this helps.
Hi Andrew, I had already increased memory limit to 256M And I have now even increased it to 260 however problem is still ocurring.
Can you please advise?
Thanks
