I installed my second purchase of Salient for a second website. The theme upload went well (used the Wordpress Only download), but the Visual Composer didn't appear. As it's a composer I already know and works perfectly for me, I'm keen to use it rather than the inbuilt composer.
I checked both the full and wordpress-only downloaded files. The Visual Composer file itself is in zip form within both the zipped and unzipped downloads. I can extract it, but then can't drag the unzipped version to my ftp client. I realize that uploading via Wordpress requires me to upload the Zipped file, but I think that because the composer is then zipped inside that, it possibly can't get at it to install it?
Any ideas on how I can get your visual composer installed would be super.
First of all i would recommend you use the salient visual composer which is heavily configured to work well with the theme. With that said, the best way would be to upload the zipped version via ftp over to http://yourdomain/wp-content/plugins and unzip it while it's there. You can then proceed to activate it in the wordpress plugins panel.
