    Hi I would like to add the categories of the shop products as a submenu on shop. I dont have the option to add the categories when i go to menu. is there something additional i need to do??

    Please have a look at the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/h2pl6f  . You will have to check the Product Categories Option .
