I recently purchased and uploaded Salient theme off of theme forrest. I'm currently running into an issue that does not allow me to upload any files into the media library due to an "http error". I've tried to increase the max file size in my wp.config file but nothing seems to work.
Also, there shouldn't be any plugins causing the issue, as i've only downloaded the necessary ones to run the theme.
Curious if you guys can take a look and perhaps help me clear this up!

Try switching to the default WordPress theme and see if the error is present, if it is then it's likely a server configuration issue. http://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/229-fixing-errors-when-uploading-images-in-wordpress
