    I am unable to save changes on my pages, such as the background color of a textbox. I click the blue button for 'Save Changes,' but nothing happens and the dialogue box won't close. When I close the dialogue box using the 'Close' button or 'X' in the upper right corner and refresh the page, my changes do not update because they didn't save. What needs to be done so the save feature works again?

    Hey

    Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. Also ensure you are running the latest version of PHP on the server

    You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

    Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.

    Thanks

    I have the same issue, it started 2-3 days ago.

    I contacted my host and change the PHP config but it made no change the the problem.

    They have updated the PHP limits the following:
    max_execution_time = 60
    memory_limit = 256M
    post_max_size = 48M
    upload_max_filesize = 48M

    Hey Again,

    WP was updated and caused the issue.

    Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.3 and Salient VC 5.2.4.

    If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel"  -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .

    To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme update,  the changelog can be viewed here : http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

    Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    Best.

    I will try all of this and appreciate the support, but now I am unable to log-in to my site. I receive a message about an Internal Server Error. Any ideas on how to resolve this so I can log-in?

    @globaljf,
    Please check for server php errors using this guide: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/your-complete-guide-to-troubleshooting-wordpress/ . It would be best to contact the hosting provider and have them look into this as they are aware of the Server Configuration Details .
