    Last update generated the common "Temporarily unavailable" message. Wnet to FTP and deleted ".maintenance"

    Now can't open website or go back to wordpress.

    Am currently uploading an old backup (june). Is there any other way i can get back to where it was?

    Backup didn't work. Deleted the theme and now page is back online but using different theme.

    Reinstalled using Envato on wordpress and all good now.

    Any idea why the issue was happening before?

    Hi Mauricio,

    You can check the error from the error log on your server for what exactly was not working and causing the issue.

    The update over FTP might not have gone correct e.g. a file did not upload and the code broke.
