i would like to change your theme files in the child theme directory, but if i copy the path (i.e.: salient-child/nectar/nectar-vc-addon/vc_templates/) and place a changed file there (i.e.: tabbed_section.php), those changes do not affect anything.
Do you have any advice for me, how to overwrite those files in the child-theme?
In most cases i do change files in the following directories: - nectar/nectar-vc-addons/nectar_maps - nectar/nectar-vc-addons/vc_templates - nectar/tinymce
Not all files in the Salient Theme are Child Theme Compatible .Please consider hiring a freelancer over at Envato Studio for these Theme customizations as they are not provided as Support: http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy .
