    Hi Guys,

Having a few issues with loading the Visual Composer. When I go to make a new page or edit an existing page it doesn't come up at all. Would you be able to help me out please.

Also, when I save changes for  post and update, it doesn't save them and its as if the design wasn't done.

Let me know if you need the login or if you need me to make it live for you to see the issues im talking about.

    Kind regards

    J

    Hey Again,

Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.3 and Salient VC 5.2.4.

If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel"  -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .

To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme update,  the changelog can be viewed here : http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    Best.

    Hey Again,

Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. Also ensure you are running the latest version of PHP on the server

You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.

    - Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
