Cannot use Nectar slider

    Since updating all related program (wordpress, salient theme, visual composer)

    I cannot use both Nectar and home slider. (no button works, upload button does nothing)

    current version is below

    (wordpress 4.9 / salient theme 8.5.3 / Salient Visual composer 5.2.4 / php 5.5)

    page builder is working without any problem on regular page section. 

    only slider doesn't work. 

    I have another site works just fine (wordpress 4.8.3 / salient theme 7.0.8 / visual composer 4.11.2)

    I attached a screenshot for nectar slider page, it shows no button at all 

    please give me some solution.

    Please update PHP to 7.0 as the new version requires it .

    I just figured out that the plug-in "qTranslate-x" is the problem. 

    what would I do to use this plugin without any further problem?

    Hey Again,

    Try using this Plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/ . 

    In The "Text Domain" field write "salient" without quotes . If you are trying to change woocommerce words  add "woocommerce" in "Text domain" . The fields are case-sensitive .

    thanks for your suggestion. 

    but I'm kinda confusing what this plug-in does exactly. 

    what am I supposed to fill out the other blank instead of Text domain "Salient"

    If you want a Bilingual site you will have to use the WPML Plugin . 

    The plugin i referred is used to change some Text in theme if your site is one language such as French .
