1) About the white gap, could you make sure you have no enabled the second navigation i.e. salient \ header navigation - layout related - header secondary nav. Make sure that is set to standard.
Also try adjusting the paddings and heights on the logo and general styling on that header navigation area.
2) About reducing the row height, the salient visual composer rows do not have a setting for this. What you can do is disable both equal height and full height row option on the row settings so that the row is as high \ tall as the content.
To modify that one, I will need to access the page directly. It looks like your localhost tunnel http://99a2c8f6.ngrok.io/ is no longer working, could you please look into it again?
It seems to have a floating effect like parallax but i disable that feature THANKS by the way awesome theme love the looks and feel of it and it's my first site building with visual composer freaking loving it
no worries i know you busy with other clients but No i was't able to fix it there is a couple of pages i'll list them below , when you fix it can you send me the code if it have to be coded because i bought 2 theme to build another website so next time i don't have to bother you?

We logged in and added this CSS:
body[data-bg-header="true"] .container-wrap{ padding-bottom:0px !important; }to salient \ general settings - css script related - custom css code.
That removed the gap at the bottom.
