Salient Builder not working

    I have just completed a round of updates to; Salient theme 8.5.3 and Wordpress 4.9.1 .. Everything seems to working fine except; the Salient Page builder. The 'Save' Button does not work.
    For the moment I have achieved required edits through using classic mode; however i am unable to build new pages until this is fixed.

    Please advise how to fix this theme issue?

    I have fixed this by also updated 'Salient Visual Composer' to 5.4.2
