I've purchased Salient for client sites more than 5+ times (love it!! love the functionality, aesthetics, demos, docs, YT videos--am a total advocate) over the years and recently upgraded a very old version of Salient (I think V2.X) to what I believe is the newest version. We had a lot of existing content in the site so this turned out to be the easiest thing to do. I'm probably lucky the whole thing didn't explode, but I did make sure to upgrade all the foundational pieces (WP. PHP, etc.) before moving to the new version of Salient.
However, on existing and new (I was testing it) post pages on this newly updated site, the "Post Configuration" box is simply missing on post edit pages. I can open the editor for another site I recently did (also using Salient) and I see the "Post Configuration" box right there, but it's missing on post pages for my current site (running WP 4.9.1, Salient 8.5.3) so I can't select which masonry sizing option I'd like for each post.
I know this is insane (and honestly I hope you are not working on New Year's day), but I'm leaving the country tomorrow for two weeks and would love to fix this for my client before going if there were any way to do that (i.e., if you saw this and immediately knew what I'd done wrong to cause this).
Happy to provide login info if you happen to see this before I go.
This is likely a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hey ,

Thanks so much for the super fast reply. I'll let you know whether deactivating the plugins works.
Thanks again ... such a great theme. :-)
