Hi i'm trying to upload an image to the site and I'm having a error

“file..jpg” has failed to upload. Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2018/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

My permissions are set up to the following:

The permission to folder are set up on 755  The permission to files are set up to 644

    Could you please help

    Thank you so much,

    Denise

    Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching in,

Thats is a wordpress permissions issue. Please have your host use CHMOD to change the permissions for the upload folder recursively to one that allows WordPress to write to it.

The permissions are set correctly and we still have the issue  (same error)

The hosting keeps telling me that is a theme problem. That they have set up the permissions correctly.

How can I find out the version I have of the theme.?

    Thanks,

    Denise
